Early life

Pakhalé studied Mechanical engineering at VNIT, Nagpur. Master of Design at Industrial Design Centre, Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and Advanced Product Design at Art Center College of Design in Switzerland.

Works

Pakhalé worked initially at Philips Design - new business creation department on innovative products in the areas of digital communication and transportation. In 1998 he set up his own design practice in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

solo Industrial design exhibitions of his works, took place- one in the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, another at Otto Gallery Bologna, Italy curated by Paola Antonelli, curator of Museum of Modern Art New York and at [Gallery Ammann[1]], Cologne, Germany. From 2006 to 2010- He has been the Head the department of Master of Design for Humanity and Sustainable Living Program at Design Academy Eindhoven, The Netherlands. His works are in several public collections, such as Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam; Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, Montreal; Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris and Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
